Six months and three days old! It’s hard to believe that Mikayla is on the downhill slide to one year old. We commemorated the weekend with a celebratory meal of mushed green beans. Minus the initial smell and color – which I’m sure I’ll be seeing again all too soon – the meal went very well. No funny faces, the pursed lips didn’t come until the end, gagging was minimal and for the first meal in a while, there was no rolling of the tongue with her mouth wide open. She simply ate it up. My little girl is growing up…
